Dr. Matt Chow
Dr. Matthew Chow (he/him) is a clinical specialist in mental health, with a subspeciality focus on children, youth, and families. He has been adopting innovation since the beginning of his career in psychiatry, and was one of the first clinicians in Canada to adopt video-based mental health visits to people’s homes, a decade before they became popularized during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
He has contributed to community-based programs such as Foundry BC – a province-wide network of integrated health and social service centres for young people ages 12 to 24 – and tertiary acute care services at BC children’s hospital.
When not leading healthcare innovation, Matt can be found spending time with his family, learning something new from a book or podcast, or putting in some miles on his bike.
